What we do not collect
- No accounts, logins or profiles. There is nothing to register for.
- No forms. The site contains no contact form, no newsletter box and no comment system.
- No wallet connection of any kind. This site never asks you to connect a wallet, and any page that appears to do so is not ours.
- No advertising network, no remarketing pixel, no cross-site identifier.
What the server records
Like any web server, the host that serves these pages writes ordinary request logs. A log line typically contains the requesting IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the referring page if the browser sends one, and the user agent string. These are used to keep the site working and to see which pages are being read. They are not linked to any identity because there is no identity to link them to.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing to local storage. If you see a cookie banner on a page claiming to be this site, you are not on this site.
Third parties that see a request
Some assets are loaded from public content delivery networks rather than from this server, which means the operators of those networks receive a request from your browser containing your IP address and user agent in the ordinary course of serving a file. Specifically, the stylesheet and script bundle for the layout framework and its icon font are served from jsDelivr, and the web fonts are served from Google Fonts. Their own privacy terms apply to those requests. A content blocker or a browser configured to block third-party requests will prevent them at the cost of some visual polish.
Outbound links
Pages on this site link to third-party destinations: documentation, explorers, and a commercial automation console operated by another company. Following such a link takes you to a site with its own privacy practices, over which the desk has no control and no visibility. We do not receive any information about what you do after you leave.
Never send secrets, here or anywhere
No page on this site, and no message from the desk, will ever ask for a seed phrase, a private key, a keypair file or an endpoint URL containing an API key. Anyone who does ask is attacking you. A key that has been shared cannot be unshared, and value moved by someone holding it cannot be recovered.
If you write to the desk, the message and the address you send it from sit in a mailbox until the exchange is finished. We do not add correspondents to any list, do not use the address for anything other than replying, and do not pass it on. Ask for the thread to be deleted and it will be.
Children
The material here is written for adults operating financial software and is not directed at children.
Changes to this page
If the set of third parties involved in serving the site changes, this page changes with it. The practical summary is unlikely to move much: static pages, no accounts, no tracking, and a strong preference for knowing as little as possible about the people who read it. Questions go to the contact page.
